Hi! I'm Ms. Snyder
Welcome to IEL! This is my second year at PHS teaching IEL/ESOL. Go Falcons!
I'm a native Atlantan. I graduated from Sequoyah High School, and then attended the University of Georgia, where I majored in Journalism and Broadcast news. I worked for several years in the journalism and Public Relations field in Atlanta. After some time, I decided my true passion was to be a teacher and work with kids, so I went back to school for a Masters degree in Teaching English as a Second Language at Marymount University in Washington D.C. I taught elementary, high-school and adult ESOL for two years in the D.C. area before moving back to Georgia and continuing to teach here. I love teaching!
I spend most of my time outside of the classroom with my four boys who keep me very active! I love sewing and crafts, all kinds of music and spending time with family and friends. And of course I enjoy cheering for UGA - go Dawgs!
